October 27, 2010: Child in the City Conference 27-29 October 2010
After a succesful cooperation in 2006 and 2008, FEPI is proud to announce it will be supporting the Child in the City conference in 2010. The 5th edition of this bi-annual event will be held in Florence (Italy) from 27 - 29 October 2010. Child in the City is a conference of the European Network Child Friendly Cities (EN CFC) and Child in the City Foundation and is the place to be for all cities, scientists and organisations focussing on the theme of a local child friendly policy.
April 1, 2009: Capital of Play Award in Sweden

March 26, 2009: Capital of Play Award in Finland
FEPI is pleased to announce that "The Capital of Play Award" was launched on the 26th of March in Finland under the coordination of the Lappset Group. February 10, 2009: Board Meeting
FEPI's new re-elected Board gathered on the 10th and 11th of February 2009 in Brussels in order to discuss about the Federation’s future strategic development.
December 15, 2008: New member
FEPI is proud to announce that after the last meetings which took place in November 2008 in Romania, PANIMAN, a romanian play industry manufacturer, is now one of our members.

Who Are We ?
The Federation Of the European Play Industry is a non-profit association at European level comprising European-based companies and European national play industries federations.
FEPI represents the interests of the most responsible manufacturers and distributors of both outdoor and indoor play equipment and safety surfacing.
The products can rank from inflatable structure to traditional slides, swings and everything in between.
History
The Federation of the European Play Industry has been officially created in 2002 in Noordwijk (Netherlands) by a combined effort of the major industries in the play market.
Mission Statement
The main purposes of FEPI are:
- To raise awareness of the importance of children's play for all the well being of children at the European level.
- To provide its members with permanent information on all European regulations, i.e. proposes laws, political decisions and pending decisions.
- To assist its members in their relations with the institutions of the European Union.
- To organise seminars and international conferences.
- To represent the interests of the European Play Industry vis-à-vis the European institutions, and the international organisations.
- To represent its member firms, as far as possible, vis-à-vis the European Court of Justice.
